We’re a family farm that believes in regenerative Agricultual processes, and pasture-based production, for healthier land, animals, and community.
"Know your farmer, and where your food comes from.”
Our mission is to provide a quality pasture raised product, that is raised on grass, or wooded paddocks, and raised in an ethical environment, in harmony with nature.
Forest Pork
Our forested pigs are raised outdoors in both pasture areas, and a wood lot that also has an old overgrown apple orchard in the middle. All of our pigs are fed a non-gmo feed, and all the apples they can eat in from late august, through the fall. They are moved to new paddocks every 7-12 days, to have new fresh grass, and critters to eat.
Pasture Chicken
Our pastured chicken, are raised in a Salatin style chicken tractor, which is moved twice a day. They are fed a non-gmo grain, and have all the fresh grass they want, and plenty of insects to eat as well. Our broilers are available through either our CSA option, or can be purchased through out the year as cuts, or whole Chicken.
Pasture Turkey
Our turkeys are also raised on pasture, with a portable house, and electric fence to prevent predators. The turkeys are moved once a week, and have lots of fresh grass, sunshine, and bugs to eat. All of our turkeys are fed a non-gmo feed, and are ready in early November, just in time for Thanksgiving!
Pasture Eggs
All of our egg layers are raised on pasture, where they have lots of sunshine, plenty of bugs to eat, and fresh grass to graze. These girls are kept in a portable chicken house with an electric fence, and are moved to fresh grass every 7 days.
“The shorter the chain between raw food and fork, the fresher it is and the more transparent the system is.”
— Joel Salatin
